The Pierce County Center for Dispute Resolution provides innovative, affordable and cooperative ways to resolve differences and often enhance relationships, whether in the workplace or family.
We are both a service center and a training center.
We offer quality mediation, settlement conference, and group facilitation services. Referrals often come from the courts, workplace supervisors or managers, community organizations, and individual word of mouth. Anyone can request a mediation. All referrals are adequately screened for appropriateness.
We also have an excellant training department that includes our Basic Mediation Training, as well as specialized trainings related to conflict resolution skills, concepts, and processes. Visit our training page for more information; contract off-site training is also available (organizations, government entities, businesses, etc.).
We are committed to an effective, efficient and fiscally sound operation emphasizing accountability and excellence in all that we do. We create measurements, systems, processes, procedures and evaluate feedback for all Center services.
We are recognized by our superior recruiting, development and retention of staff and volunteers. We actively promote diversity in all of our relationships. We further understand that building close relationships with our community is paramount to our success.
